Selected Darjeeling Tea
Selected Darjeeling Tea combines leaves carefully selected from different harvest times, including First Flush in the spring, Second Flush in the summer, and smaller harvests in between. The cost of tea picked between the main harvests is lower, making the Selected Darjeeling of exceptional quality an excellent bargain. Characteristics of both first and second flushes merge to present a flowery, amber, full-bodied cup.
Brewing Ratios and Tips:
500 ml or 2 cups :: 3.5-4 g or 1 1/2 - 2 tsp :: 100°C or 212°F :: 3 - 5 min.
Selected Darjeeling benefits from a slightly longer steep time; try 5 minutes at a 90°C/200°F
