
I love keeping a big pitcher of this iced Darjeeling tea in my fridge! It's perfect to serve to guests in the summer. It's also a refreshing and energizing drink for the mornings. For this recipes, I use First Flush Darjeeling but you could also use Green Darjeeling if you prefer a little less caffeine.
Iced Honey Lemon Darjeeling Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups hot water (175F)
- 4 tsp loose leaf Darjeeling (Buy some HERE)
- 2-3 Tbs Honey
- 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Begin heating 4 cups of water to 175F
- Measure out 4 tsp. of loose leaf Darjeeling into a pot
- Steep tea in water for about 12 minutes
- While tea is hot, stir in 2-3 Tbs of honey
- Add 1-2 Tbs of fresh lemon juice to the tea
- Set tea in fridge for an hour or 2 until chilled
