Warentest Tests Green Tea for Chemical Residues
A recent test of green teas, conducted by Stiftung
Warentest, illustrates the fact that Teekampagne’s
procedures for quality assurance are most severe. With just
0,03 mg (= 0,1%) of endosulfans, the amount of chemical residues
detected is far below the permissible limit (according to federal
regulations) of 30 mg.
Thus, we fulfill the 'Bionorm' ('Eco Norm'), and our tea can be
considered
organic.
Oekotest 10/2004

In its October 2004 issue,
Ökotest examined 24
black teas from different regions and in different price
categories. Teekampagne’s Darjeeling First
Flush was among the top teas. It received the very best grade
in all categories and an overall ranking of "very
good," the best possible ranking.
In additon, it was the most affordable
Darjeeling tea among all those tested by
Ökotest. Teekampagne Darjeeling earned its top
ranking through its exceptional
taste and purity. No chemical residues could be found.
Therefore, it received "very good" in the category
of purity as well.

For Price Comparison:
The second-ranked Darjeeling tea among the test winners is three times
as expensive as that offered by Teekampagne. All other Darjeeling teas
tested were more expensive as well but did not meet the
Teekampagne’s standards of
quality.
